The Crow and the Rainbow

On a rainy day, Kalle feels a little sad -- until a wise old owl shows him something magical.

It was a rainy morning in the forest, and all the animals were out sheltering under the trees. The crow, whose name was Kalle, sat in his usual spot in an old tree, watching the rain pour down. Kalle was used to the rain, but this morning he felt a little sad. He knew the forest was always beautiful after the rain, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he was missing something.

The Crow and the Rainbow

"I wish I could see something beautiful today," Kalle thought, hopping out of the tree to fly through the rain.

A Magical Discovery

As Kalle flew through the rain, he heard a soft voice in the wind.

"Kalle, come here, look at this!" said the voice.

Kalle flew over to the open meadow and saw something incredible. A large, beautiful rainbow stretched across the sky, its colors lighting up the dark, rainy day.

"It's amazing!" Kalle cried. "How did the rainbow get here?"

"I've been here the whole time," said the soft voice.

It was the old owl, sitting very still in a nearby tree with her eyes on the sky.

"The rainbow has always been here, but you had to be open to see it."

Kalle tilted his head. All morning he had watched the puddles, and never once the sky.

A Journey Through the Colors

The owl flew down beside Kalle, and the two friends flew together through the rainbow's colors. Kalle could feel a warmth in his heart as the light slid in stripes across his black feathers.

"You see, Kalle," said the owl, "each color in the rainbow has its own meaning. Red stands for love, orange for joy, yellow for hope, green for peace, blue for wisdom, indigo for imagination, and purple for magic. All these qualities are with us every day, and the rainbow reminds us that we can always find them within ourselves."

Kalle flew through the rainbow with the owl, up one side and down the other, until the rain on his wings felt like nothing but light.

A Friendly Goodnight

After a while, Kalle landed on a tall branch, and the owl sat beside him.

"Thank you for showing me the rainbow, owl," Kalle said with a smile.

"I've learned that even on rainy days, there's always something beautiful to find."

The owl smiled and nodded.

"Remember, Kalle, that the beauty in life isn't always easy to see. But if we take the time to open our hearts, we can discover magical moments everywhere."

Kalle closed his eyes and felt at peace. He knew the rainbow would stay with him in his thoughts every time he flew through the forest.

"Goodnight, world," Kalle whispered.

"Thank you for all the beautiful moments."

And under the starry sky, Kalle slept, dreaming of the rainbow's colors and the magical memories from his adventurous journey.

Even on the darkest days, we can find beauty in the world around us, if we only open our hearts.
