The lonely giant Thoran sets off across the world in search of the golden star -- and finds something he needed even more.
It was a dark and quiet night on the mountain, where the great giant named Thoran lived. Thoran was the largest of all giants, with muscles that could lift mountains, and hands that could touch the clouds.
But despite his enormous size, Thoran always felt alone. His long days were spent flying over the mountains and looking at the stars, but he had no one to share his thoughts and feelings with. Every evening he sat on top of the mountain, and even though he heard the sounds of forest animals and the wind blowing through the trees, he felt a deep emptiness. No one ever came to visit him, and he longed for a friend to share his life with.
"I have everything, and yet I feel so alone," Thoran thought as he stared at the clear night sky.
"Maybe there's something magical out there that can fill this emptiness."
The stars glittered like diamonds in the sky, and he had always felt that one special star was out there, just for him. Tonight he felt he could find something important, a way out of loneliness.
"Maybe I can find the golden star," he said quietly to himself.
"Maybe it has an answer to my wish."
The Meeting with the Magical Star
Thoran knew he had to find the star, the golden star he had heard of in old songs. According to legend, this star could grant one wish to whoever found it. Thoran decided to travel down from the mountain to search for the star. Maybe his wish for friendship could come true? He flew out into the darkness, over valleys and plains, in search of the glowing star.
Along the way he met many creatures, like small elves flying about, and forest animals curious about the great giant. They were friendly and helped him find his way through the forests, but none of them could give him what he was searching for.
"I still feel alone," Thoran thought sadly, even though he had met friendly creatures along the way.
"Maybe the star is the only thing that can fill this emptiness."
He flew on, through dense forests and along clear rivers, as the stars led him toward his goal.
Help from a Little Friend

One evening, as Thoran rushed through a dense forest, he heard a faint voice say:
"Can I help you, great giant?" Thoran stopped and looked down.
There, before him, stood a little mouse, her eyes full of wonder and kindness. She had never seen such a huge creature before, but that didn't stop her from approaching.
"I'm looking for the golden star," said Thoran in a low voice.
"I wish for a friend, someone to share my days with."
The mouse looked at the giant with a friendly gaze.
"I've heard of that star," she said with a smile.
"But maybe the star isn't what you need to get what you wish for. I can help you find it, but maybe we can also find the friends you're looking for along the way."
Thoran was moved by the mouse's words and thanked her.
"Maybe you're right," he replied.
"But I feel that this star must be important."
Together they continued the journey. As they traveled, they shared stories, and Thoran began to feel a little less alone. He began to understand that friendship isn't necessarily about size or magical wishes, but about sharing the journey with someone who cares.
The Golden Star
The two travelers, the great giant and the little mouse, spent days on their journey. They learned about each other, and Thoran began to understand that friendship isn't necessarily about size or strength, but about honesty, care, and sharing moments together. One night, as they reached a mountain ridge, they saw something incredible: a golden star shining atop a mountain cliff, more radiant than any other star in the sky.
"That's the golden star!" Thoran cried, and began climbing to the top of the cliff.
The mouse hopped lightly behind him, and together they reached the star. The star's light was so strong and warm that Thoran felt filled with energy and joy. He read his wish silently to the star:
"I wish to find a friend forever."
As they stood by the star, it shone even brighter, and Thoran felt a warm, soothing light fill him. He closed his eyes and wished for a friend forever. When he opened his eyes, he looked at the mouse, who smiled back.
"I've found my friend," said Thoran, his heart filled with joy.
"And I've found a big friend," said the mouse, and together they began the journey back to the mountain.
A Friendship Forever
Thoran and the mouse went back to the mountain together, and this time Thoran didn't feel alone. He had found what he had been searching for -- a true friendship. They spent many happy years together, and they learned that true friendship doesn't depend on size or magical stars, but on sharing experiences, supporting each other, and understanding one another.
"I'm glad I found you," Thoran said to the mouse.
"And I'm glad we found each other," the mouse replied.
One evening, Thoran and the mouse sat together on their rock, looking at the stars.
"I'm not alone anymore," Thoran said with a smile. "I've found my best friend."
"Good night, Thoran," the mouse said with a smile.
"We're friends forever."
And together, under the stars, they both fell asleep with warm hearts, full of friendship and magic.
The moral of the story: True friendship isn't about size, but about sharing love, support, and time together.
