Little One wants to help everyone at once, but a wise bird in her dream teaches her something important about patience.
Little One had always been a kind girl. She loved helping the people around her, but sometimes she felt she had so much to do that she never had time to help others. One evening, before bed, she sat on her bed thinking about everything she could do to help her parents, her friends, and even the elderly neighbors who lived nearby.
"I wish I could help everyone," Little One thought.
"But I feel like I always have so much else to do."
That night, as she slept, Little One dreamed that she had magical powers. In the dream she could help everyone at once, and she ran from place to place, always busy. But soon she began to feel exhausted and realized she couldn't do everything at once.
A Lesson in Patience
Suddenly a great, wise bird appeared in her dream. The bird had long feathers and a calm look in its eyes.
"Little One, why are you so stressed?" asked the bird.
"I want to help everyone," Little One replied. "But I can't do it fast enough."
The bird smiled.
"Wanting to help is a wonderful gift, Little One, but you need patience. Sometimes, when we try to do everything at once, we end up exhausted, and we can't do it as well as we'd like."
Little One frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"Helping isn't just something that can happen quickly," the bird explained.
"It takes time, understanding, and patience. Sometimes just being present and giving a little time to those who need help is the best thing you can do."

Little One's New Insight
When Little One woke the next morning, she felt calmer. She knew she had to take things one day at a time and help those around her when she could, but with more patience. She began helping her parents with small tasks around the house, without feeling she had to do it all at once.
One day, while helping her neighbor, Mrs. Jensen, water the flowers in the garden, she paused and looked at the beautiful plants growing along the fence. She took the time to enjoy the moment, and when she was done, she felt glad she had been patient.
"Remember, Little One," said Mrs. Jensen with a smile, "there's always great joy in doing things with patience and love."
Little One smiled and understood that real help isn't always about doing everything quickly, but about doing it with an open heart and patience.
Patience allows us to help others better, and it gives us time to enjoy the small moments in life.
